Navigating into Health and Social Care is a free eight-week programme that offers training, careers advice and work experience opportunities to unemployed adults looking to explore work in health and social care.
By taking part, you can enhance your employability skills and explore:
- New work experiences
- Training
- Wellbeing support
- Understanding your finances
- Understanding and removing personal barriers
- Learning and training opportunities
- Digital awareness
The eight-week programme is designed for unemployed adults who are not currently in education and training, as well as anyone who is employed but is wanting to upskill into this priority sector.
Times and locations vary for classroom learning, placements, and wellbeing activities, tailored to fit your unique schedule.

Navigating into Health and Social Care has been awarded funding through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). A total of £55,923 of the money given to North East Lincolnshire Council to allocate to local projects that focus on three priorities for the borough (Communities and Place, Supporting Business and People and Skills) has been awarded to Navigo.
The service is just one of several employability support services offered by Navigo, including Tukes, Individual Placement and Support and NHS Talking Therapies' employment advice service.
