We want to let everyone know that responses received for a child or young person’s referral outcomes might be delayed whilst we undergo the recruitment process for a vacancy within the team. We understand how important a timely decision is made for the referrals submitted and we are working hard to continue to make sure that this happens as soon as possible.
Whilst we will continue to do our best to respond to queries as quickly as possible, our response times may increase up to ten working days during this time.
We thank you for bearing with us and kindly ask that if you have emailed or called us once, please be assured that we will get back to you as soon as we can.
The Neurodevelopmental Service takes referrals for children and young people in North East Lincolnshire who require a specialist autism or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) assessment.
The service replaces the North East Lincolnshire Access Pathway. The Access Pathway was transferred to Navigo as part of plans to reduce waiting times and streamline children and young people’s mental health services.
The Neurodevelopmental Service team offer assessments to determine whether a child or young person has a neurodevelopmental presentation that meets the criteria for neurodiverse conditions such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or ADHD. The team includes:
- child and adolescent psychiatrists
- clinical psychologists
- learning disability nurses
- speech and language therapists
- a paediatrician
