This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re focusing on one of the most powerful tools for improving our mental health: community.
Feeling connected, supported and understood can make all the difference to our wellbeing and at Navigo, community is a part of who we are. Whether you’re a service user, community member, carer or staff member, you have a say in the decisions we make and your voice matters.
We also recognise the effect that community can have on someone feeling safe, giving us a sense of belonging and purpose, and providing support when times get hard.
Simon Beeton, Navigo Chief Executive said: “Mental Health Awareness Week is a powerful reminder that none of us are alone, but also that real change can happen when we come together.
“We believe services should be shaped by the people using them. That’s why our community isn’t just something we support, but the very foundations of what Navigo is.
“We should celebrate the strength of our community and continue to put collaboration and compassion at the centre of everything we do to make sure everyone feels heard, valued and supported.”
