To help us support more people in the right way, Safespace will be moving from a drop in service to a bookable session model from Monday 15 June 2026.
We’ve made this change because demand for the service has grown, and we want to make sure everyone who attends receives dedicated time, focused support and a calmer, more structured experience.
As part of this update, online support sessions will no longer be offered. This allows the team to focus fully on delivering high quality, in person support during bookable sessions.
What this means:
- From Monday 15 June, you will need to book a session before attending Safespace.
- To book, please contact the Single Point of Access (SPA) on (01472) 256256 and select option 3.
- If you contact the crisis line and a Safespace session is appropriate, SPA colleagues can book this for you directly.
- Sessions will continue to run in the evenings, with capacity to support more people.
This new approach will help us make sure that everyone who needs support gets the right help at the right time.
If you have any questions or need help booking, please contact SPA on (01472) 256256 and select option 3.
