We hope you enjoy a peaceful festive period with those you love. But we know that this time of year can bring its own challenges for many people. Here's a reminder of the mental health support available in North East Lincolnshire over the festive period.

  • Call us first. Our crisis support team is available 24/7 at (01472) 256256 (option 3). Or you can call NHS 111. Reaching out by phone first helps us provide the fastest and most effective support to meet your needs.

  • If you believe you are in a mental health crisis and in need of immediate help, support is available at Harrison House on Peaks Lane in Grimsby.

  • If you’re in immediate physical danger or have a medical emergency, call 999 now.

  • You can text ORANGE to 85258 to start an anonymous SMS conversation — 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Please note: Shout run and staff this service, and not the Navigo crisis team.

  • Safespace is open from 5.30pm every evening at Navigo House on Brighowgate in Grimsby. You can also join online. Details are available here.

  • NHS Talking Therapies will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day, as well as weekends. Otherwise, it will be open between 9am and 5pm from Monday to Friday. Normal working hours (including late nights) will resume from Monday 5 January 2026.

  • Community Mental Health services will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day, as well as weekends. Otherwise, it will be open between 9am and 5pm from Monday to Friday.

  • Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (Young Minds Matter) will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day, as well as weekends. Otherwise, it will be open between 9am and 5pm from Monday to Friday. 

  • All inpatient services, including Adult Acute and Older People's Acute, remain open as usual, including bank holidays and weekends.
