Environments

We take pride in our environments and ensure that our inpatient areas prioritise the wellbeing and comfort of individuals within the services.

Areas are designed to feel welcoming and homely with well-cared-for grounds and facilities.

Mutual expectations

Mutual expectations are shared in welcome packs, ward contracts/licence agreements and information screens.

These expectations underpin our values of dignity, safety, openness, service improvement and respect for each other and our environment.

NAV4U

NAV4U is a quarterly forum, which invites colleagues and individuals using the services to come together to discuss their experiences, suggest improvements and offer peer-to-peer support and advice.

Learning disability and neurodiversity

Learning disability or neurodiversity is not an exclusion criterion for the rehabilitation service. Reasonable adjustments will be considered on an individual basis.

This may include environmental adaptions, communication tools, colleague training, support and advocacy.
