Vulnerable service users received a festive hamper to their door this week after generous donations from the North East Lincolnshire community.
Members of the public, NAViGO staff and Grimsby Garden Centre customers selflessly donated food and money to help brighten Christmas for dozens of people across the county.
The hampers, stuffed with chocolate, snacks and more, complement the rest of our work to protect our most at-risk service users during the COVID-19 pandemic. Over 100 care packages have also been delivered during the course of the second national lockdown, and regular telephone catch-ups ensure that nobody feels the effects of loneliness.
While we've all had to cope with the challenges that coronavirus has brought us this year, our service users have also had to deal with complex conditions, isolation, financial stability and other issues.
The Tukes team, including Damian, were responsible for delivering the hampers across the Grimsby area in the run-up to Christmas.
