If you want the person you're nominating to win an award, you have to convince the judges that they stand out from the others!
Read these top tips which might help you complete your nomination!
- Consider all the categories available and choose the most appropriate one for your nomination
- Start your nomination with lots of positives. Your opening words are crucial in keeping the attention of the judges!
- Boast about your nominee's achievements! Don't just say they've gone 'above and beyond' — give details of how they've done this and why it has made a difference to service users, carers, members or colleagues
- NAViGO's values are always at the heart of everything we do, so the judges will be looking for evidence of our values in the nominations for all of the categories
- Try not to use jargon! If you catch yourself using specialist language, simplify if possible. You can even let us know about it and we can add it to our jargon buster!
- Remember to get your nomination form submitted in time so it can be considered by the staff representatives — nominations close on Monday 6 March, 2023!
