Working for you!

Conrad_Brown_thumb.jpgWhy would you like to be a staff representative?

"I am a strong believer in bringing about positive change and in order to achieve this I will talk with you on your suggestions on how we make our service the best it can be for both our clients & for you.

"I would like to represent you as I believe with my experience we will be able to make a difference. I quite often hear staff suggesting great ideas. Unfortunately quite often they go no further - what a wasted opportunity!

"Tell me, share your idea, I will ensure it gets the consideration it deserves."

Tell us about you and your experience.

"I have been a care coordinator for the last 15 years, working for various teams around the country. I have previously had many varied roles, from equality and diversity lead, to being a union rep representing disabled members and challenging discrimination to make the working environment safer.

"I believe my social work values, Client Centred Counselling qualification and lived life experiences will make me an ideal person to listen and represent you."

If you are elected as a representative, what do you want to achieve?

"Let's debate changes to our service and future developments. I will raise awareness about what is going on and bring back constructive opinions, whether they be positive or negative.

"I want to create a two way communication between you and our organisation. I aim to keep you involved."

How do you intend to engage with the membership to ensure their voices are heard?

"I am approachable and happy to discuss your views through either face to face or through Teams, Zoom, email or the telephone.

"I will also offer a drop in service. I will always be there to listen in order to bring about positive change, and raise any concerns you might have."
