As you may be aware, we have recently entered a new pharmacy contract and we wanted to take this opportunity to clarify information on prescription fees for Navigo service users.
Prescription fees
If you previously received your Navigo prescription free of charge, you will continue to do so. Prescribed items given to inpatients are also free.
Accessing your prescription
If you don’t pay for prescriptions, you will be issued with a green or purple prescription form, known as an FP10.
‘NHS prescription fee exemption’ should be marked on the back of the form.
If you are eligible to pay for NHS prescriptions, or you require a weekly delivery, you will be issued with a contract prescription form. This form will ensure you aren’t charged for the prescription (even though you are eligible to pay for NHS prescriptions). This prescription can be collected from the pharmacy located at Bradley Cross Roads, delivered to your home address or collected from Weelsby View.
