Navigo’s Rharian Fields achieves prestigious accreditation from the Royal College of Psychiatrists and the Quality Network for Eating Disorders

Rharian Fields, a leading provider of specialist support for individuals affected by eating disorders, is proud to announce that it has been officially accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych) and the Quality Network for Eating Disorders (QED).

This significant milestone recognises the Navigo service's commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in line with national standards.

The accreditation, awarded following a rigorous assessment and peer review process, demonstrates that Rharian Fields meets or exceeds the quality benchmarks set by the RCPsych and QED. These standards cover a broad range of areas, including clinical effectiveness, patient experience, safeguarding, staff training, and service leadership.

Sarah Heaton, Navigo Inpatient Service Clinical Lead said: “We are absolutely delighted to receive this accreditation for the second time. It is a testament to the dedication and expertise of our entire team, who work tirelessly to support individuals and families affected by eating disorders. This recognition reinforces our commitment to continuous improvement and the provision of compassionate, person-centred care.”

The accreditation process included feedback from service users, carers, and staff, ensuring that the evaluation reflected the real-world impact and quality of the care provided. It also included site visits, policy reviews, and interviews, all aimed at ensuring high standards are consistently met.

A service user’s family members said: “Words cannot describe how thankful we are for all the support, care and encouragement for our daughter during her stay at Rharian. We are eternally grateful.”

The service joins a select group of services nationwide recognised for delivering outstanding care for individuals living with eating disorders. The endorsement provides assurance to service users and families that they are receiving care that is safe, effective, and based on best practice.
