Things are chatty down at The Potting Shed and it’s all part of our aims to get people talking and reduce social isolation.

Dedicated talking tables are available in the cafe at Grimsby Garden Centre.

Anyone who fancies a chat, or wants to meet new people, can display a sign on their table saying they’re happy for a natter encouraging conversation at dedicated times. You could be on your own, with a friend, part of a couple or with your baby. Anyone. Of any age.

It might be a quick chat or the start of a new friendship. But there’s no pressure to take part. It’s just about getting talking and the joy of interaction.

Talking Table sessions take place every week.

Monday: 9am–11am

Friday: 1pm–3pm
