The Gardiner Hill Foundation was set up to enhance and enrich the lives of people with mental health issues by supporting people to live independently, achieve their goals and boost their wellbeing.

This might mean funding a course to help someone on the next step to their dream job, buying a bed for someone who is moving into their own place or sourcing a bike to help boost their fitness.

The charity also supplements some mental health services provided by NAViGO, expanding upon the funded core services that are already in place.

A Board of Trustees runs the Foundation, who together are responsible for the overall management of the Foundation, including awarding grants as well as securing and raising funding.

The Board of Trustees meets every month and may discuss urgent grant submissions via email in between these formal meetings. Trustees are expected to be actively involved in the fundraising events the Foundation hosts or takes part in.
