MONTHLY COVID 19 UPDATE

North East Lincolnshire rates are currently very low.

Staff continue to submit their lateral flow test results twice per week.

NAViGO did not gain approval as a vaccination site, and are liaising with other sites to ensure that staff have access to the vaccine. 78% of front-line staff have received their 1st vaccine.

“IN THE SPOTLIGHT” COMMUNITY MH DEVELOPMENTS LINKED TO PCN’S

Anna Morgan shared a presentation.

Three Primary Care Networks were formed across North East Lincolnshire in April 2019. These offer direct access to specialised advice and have formed a route for access to adult and older people’s services.

Funding has been granted for NAViGO to undertake Serious Mental Illness (SMI) health checks to support the practices.

Good relationships have been formed with PCN’s, and MDT’s take place regularly.

Due to the removal of thresholds and complex referral processes now able to work as one team.

Feedback for NAViGO has been positive, and they have utilised this opportunity to enhance the Service User experience by removing duplication and improving efficiency.

A steering group and project group have been formed to look at how t progress.

QUARTERLY UPDATES

11.1 Finance

As a community interest company NAViGO have been asked to receive transformation money from foundation trust and protect it. There will be year end adjustments required to display that this is not a surplus.

NAViGO were instructed to identify £120k per year of savings from social care funding. Community representatives played an active role, and it was decided to only deliver accredited training for horticulture and to cease using Floral Hall.

Scrutiny committee papers are in the public domain, therefore staff have been notified but the decision will be made by the local authority shortly.

ACTION

As we are able to re-provide in whole or in the majority by another provision it was identified that this decision would have less of an impact than any other cost saving.

Horticulture service can be provided at the Garden Centre, and training and education will be provided alongside Lincoln college. The date is yet to be decided.

Lincoln college is not exclusive, connections have also been made with Grimsby and Hull.

11.2 Carers Dashboard

Not currently available, will be brought to a future meeting.
